What's Included When You Rent a Food Truck From Us

Renting a food truck is more than just getting the keys to a vehicle with a kitchen in the back. When you partner with a professional leasing company, you are renting an ecosystem of compliance, equipment, and support. If you are gearing up to rent a truck in LA, here is a transparent breakdown of exactly what is included in your package—and what remains your responsibility.

1. The Fully Permitted Vehicle

The biggest value of renting is skipping the bureaucratic nightmare of the LA County Department of Public Health. Our rental fleet comes pre-certified. This means the truck already has its HCD insignia, approved blueprints, and a baseline health permit. You will still need to tie the truck to your specific business entity and commissary, but the hardest part—getting the physical asset approved—is already done.

2. Commercial-Grade Equipment

Our standard trucks come fully equipped and ready to cook. While exact layouts vary, a standard rental includes:

  • Cooking Line: Griddles, deep fryers, and a multi-burner stove under a certified Class-I commercial exhaust hood with an active fire suppression system.
  • Refrigeration: Commercial reach-in refrigerators and under-counter cold-prep stations.
  • Plumbing: A three-compartment sink, hand-washing sink, high-capacity fresh water tank, wastewater tank, and a high-recovery water heater.
  • Power: A heavy-duty, quiet commercial generator capable of running all onboard systems simultaneously.

3. Support and Maintenance

When you own a truck, a blown transmission or a busted generator means you are out of business until you can afford the repairs. When you rent with us, major mechanical and structural maintenance is covered under the agreement. We provide technical support to ensure your kitchen stays operational, minimizing your downtime.

What You Are Responsible For: As the operator, you are responsible for providing your own food inventory, point-of-sale (POS) system, specialized smallwares (pots, pans, utensils), daily fuel, and business insurance (including auto and general liability).

We believe in setting our renters up for success from day one. By providing a reliable, compliant, and fully equipped vehicle, we let you focus on what actually matters: cooking incredible food and building your brand.
